Pepperoni Pizza Casserole

Directions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

2. Cook the spaghetti according to the package directions until al dente. Drain it and return the pasta to the pot.

3. In the pot, combine the marinara sauce, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, black olives, green bell pepper, onion, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using). Mix well until everything is evenly coated.

4. Spread the spaghetti mixture into the prepared baking dish, leveling it out evenly. Top it with the remaining 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese.

5. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden brown.

6. Once out of the oven, allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving. Add fresh basil as a garnish if desired. Enjoy!
